Christian Life Church will begin two Sunday Morning Services next month, starting April 3rd. These services will allow our Church Family to stretch our potential to reach more people for the Kingdom of God.
It benefits the Children’s Ministry’s Children’s Church Teams by giving us:
- Shorter services
- Smaller groups of kids at a time
- An opportunity for Team Members to minister in one service and attend the other.

- 9:00-10:30 First Service
- 30 min. Fellowship Intermission
- 11:00-12:30 Second Service
Dr. Jay is asking all Ministry Teams to go the extra mile during the April and May transition period. In the Children’s Ministry, we will need to double our weekly Children’s Church Teams, providing one for the 9 a.m. service and one for the 11 a.m. service. We can do this by recruiting new team members and by ministering more than one week per month.

We need Christian individuals who are interested in working with children: for Leaders, persons who are at least 21 years old and have completed Basepath Class 301 or NCD Phase 1, and for Assistants, persons who are at least 13 years old and have completed Basepath Class 101. You can encourage people to visit out Team Member registration page at http://kids.clcbahamas.org/team/registration or distribute copies of our Information Document and our Team Member Form.
The new services will affect our recently set up Spring Schedule, which will need to be change for April and May.

What we are tentatively looking at for our Ministry Team with the change to two services: - During
the 9:00 service, children will most likely be dismissed around 9:30
and the Children's Church Team will have them for about an hour.
- It has been recommended that we have a "Snack Time" during the
10:30-11:00 intermission and organize a Snack Team within our Ministry
Team to supervise it. This could help keep the Children's Church Team
from having to serve snacks twice each Sunday.
- During the 11:00 service, children will most likely be dismissed
around 11:30, giving the Children Church Team for that service an hour.
In addition to the two services, Christian Life will be doing another 40 day campaign starting on April 3rd called 40 Days of Love. We will be using a curriculum in Children's Church starting that Sunday for six weeks that goes with the campaign. |
