On January 31, 2010, our 7-12's Children's Church had their third Offering Time Contest Party.  For 13 weeks, the boys and girls had been competing to see who could bring the most offering.  During that time, the boys won 7 Sundays, and the girls 6.  The boys, therefore, claimed victory and were served by the girls at the Ice Cream Party that everyone got to eat at.  And, besides the delicious ice cream, everyone enjoyed ice cream themed games, which the boys also won more of.  Congratulations to the boys!

This was the boys first time winning the Offering Contest.   The girls were served by the boys at our first Ice Cream Party on January 11, 2009, after they beat them 8 to 3 in the first 13 weeks of competition, which ending early because the boys could not come from behind.  However, the boys have kept it close ever since, tying the girls for the first 12 weeks of the second round, but loosing to them again in the tie-breaking week 13.  The girls were rewarded that time by being served at the April 11, 2009 Easter Egg Hunt.  Who will win next?
